I always wanted to watch this movie from the 80s but I never had the chance or time. Luckily this weekend I finally saw this wonderful movie.

Starring:Molly Ringwald,Andrew McCarthy,Jon Cryer,Harry Dean Stanton,Annie Potts,James Spader
Synopsis:Young Andie is one of the not-so-popular girls in high school who usually hangs out with her friends Iona or Duckie. Duckie has always had a crush on her, but now she has met a new guy from school, Blane. He's one of the rich and popular guys but can the two worlds meet?

My Review: The reason why I loved this movie was because not only was it a great romantic movie it also dealt with the prejudices between the rich and the poor. Not only where the rich prejudiced against the poor and considered them trash but also the poor thought that the rich bought everything with their money. But once again the movie taught us that love can beat anything no matter religion, colour, background, ethicity e.t.c as long as you believe in yourself. Two were my absolutely favourite scenes it the whole movie. The First was(after Blane and Andy had gone out on a date and he already asked her to the prom but was later avoiding her) there when she was shouting to him and trying to make him admit that she was ashamed of beeing seen with her and the only thing he could say was that he already asked someone else to the prom!(Great Acting). The other was there where Blane told Steff that he was a rich ass who bought everything and later on claimed he's love for Andie to her. It was so sweet especially after when Andie catches Blane in the parking lot and they kiss in the misty night. I honestly cried..Anyway I recommend this movie to anyone who is inlove because love does conquer anything as long as your willing to fight for another and believe in each other and in yourself too. The acting was perfect and it convinced me in every way
